Items used in above pictures:

1. 5/8th inch velvet elastic, made into a tuxedo bow

2. Grosgrain bow Applique and rhinestone slider

3. Petal puffs

4. Addison Flowers

5. 3 inch sequin bows

6. Lace tutu flower, pearl gem 26mm buttons, peacock feathers on trim

7. Pinwheel flower and flat back pearl 14mm

8. 30mm blossom button

A few pointers/variations we learned along the way.

1. You can glue directly onto the back of flowers, bows, etc. Or you can add an extra felt circle after the shoe clip is glued on to ensure the top of the shoes do not get any scuffs from the shoe clip.

2. When making smaller shoe clips, glue the clip further towards the edge of the piece, instead of in the center, so it sits further down the toe of the shoe.

3. When using crystal buttons or flat back embellishments, use a felt circle behind and onto top of the clip, making a “shoe clip sandwich”.
